You can expect special themed drinks on each floor as well some other spooky surprises.
Halloween 2018: Best Dressed Costume Competitions
For us Halloween is the biggest and best night of the year. Dressing up is mandatory at our clubs to make Halloween the most experiential night of the year. To make it more enticing we are hosting Best Dressed costume competitions.
In previous years, our clientele have gone over and above to make their costumes original and artistic, with some people forking out huge sums of money to make them perfect. To incentivise creativity and effort, we will have a range of prizes for those who put out all the stops.
We can’t say exactly what prizes we have in store this year, but we can tell you that in previous years we have given as much as a £500 cash prize for the most hardworking competitors. To give you a better idea of costume you could choose from, we have compiled a list of Our Top 10 DIY Halloween Costume Ideas 2018 as well as creating an album of our guests Halloween costumes from previous years.
Our Top 10 DIY Halloween Costume Ideas 2018
Fitting in with our clubs themes, we have compiled a list of the best Halloween film characters to dress up as this year…
1. Jack Torrance – The Shining
Don your best Jack Torrance costume and impersonate Jack Nicholson’s maniac behaviour.
Create your very own wooden door frame to attach to your head, wield a plastic axe and shout ‘HERE’S JOHNNY’ sporadically throughout the night.
2. Kayako – The Grudge
Cover yourself in white body paint and dress up as the Ju-on horror ghost Kayako!
3. Pennywise – IT
Become Pennywise, Stephen King’s terrifying clown that prays on children
4. The Sanderson Sisters – Hocus Pocus
Channel the Sanderson Sisters and pick from the domineering and buck-toothed Winnie; her right-hand witch Mary; and the youngest, most beautiful sister Sarah.
5. The Grand High Witch – The Witches
Choose between lathering yourself in foam prosthetic and liquid latex to create her terrifying ‘natural’ look or by portraying her ‘public’ masked look.
6. Wicked Witch of the West – The Wizard of Oz
Make-up and face paint has advanced since 1939 when Margaret Hamilton damaged her skin using toxic copper paint. Now you can dress up pain-free for this classic witch character.
7. Chucky – Child’s Play
Use own black magic to trap your soul inside a creepy doll or just copy the look using make up and liquid latex.
8. Beetlejuice and Lydia – Beetlejuice
Tie directly into the Cathouse’s Beetlejuice theme as our two favourite characters played by Winnoa Ryder and Michael Keaton.
9. John Kramer/ Jigsaw – Saw
Dress up in a long black cape with a red interior to achieve his mysterious look. You could even add a disturbing pig mask or combine the Jigsaw puppet mask with a black suit and red bow tie.
10. Dexter Morgan – Dexter
To achieve the look of the forensic scientist serial killer, layer a dark long sleep top and cargo trousers with a vinyl waterproof apron and leather gloves.
